Fireworks on the Fourth

What better way to test the low-light capabilities of my new camera than America's Independence celebration. Though tame by Mexican celebration standards, the crowds around me at Bluff Park in Long Beach, CA certainly enjoyed the fireworks. Lots of ohhs and ahhs as the 20 minute program built to its grand finale - of which this image shows just a very small section.
