Wild Revolutionary Scotland

I don't know about revolutionary, but it was certainly wild in Scotland today. This poem by Robert Montgomery was commissioned by the film festival this year, I've only recently noticed the billboard despite the walking this way to work most days. I saw absolutely nothing in the festival this year, in fact I don't think I even flicked through the programme.

I mentioned the 'Watch the Closing Doors' compilation yesterday and I think gave the first CD a spin today. It's tremendous and ends with a weird piece by John Cage - Indeterminacy. Reminds me of The Gift by the Velvet Underground, who are sure to feature on a later NY compilation.

In other news - it's the weekend. Hurrah.
