Wagons

I have been in London over the last two days, honest. It's just that my shots from the train have been better than the shots on the streets. Maybe London has too many options that I just can't focus on what I'd like to take.

An enjoyable evening in London last night, took a wander to Rough Trade East after work and unfortunately (or fortunately for my wallet) there was a band playing (Cashier No. 9, not good) and so I couldn't browse through all the racks. Did pick up the Clam's Casino ep (which is excellent) and also a great looking compilation 'Watch the Closing Doors' which is the first in a series attempting to document New York's influence on music. The first one covers the 40's and 50's with a compilation for each of the following decades in the pipeline. Compelling stuff.

On the train back to Edinburgh now, in fact I'm just passing the tower blocks from yesterday. Off to watch Zidane on DVD for the rest of the journey.
