Mum and babies

Four weeks after arriving we got to see the babies for the first time.

We got a call on a Sunday afternoon about a hog in a garden moving very slowly. I picked her up and brought her home. On closer inspection Gill realised she had given birth so I went back to the finder's home and discovered four babies no more than 36 hours old. I picked them up and got them back to mum as soon as possible. The most nerve racking time was waiting to see if mum would accept them.
We spent four weeks walking around on tip toes until we knew the babies were out of danger. Mum would have killed them if she felt threatened.
