~creek~

Here is Sam on a little island of sand, playing in the same creek I played in as a little girl. This creek flows through the backyard of my Grandpa's cabin and out into the Pacific. I love sharing this beach with my kids. I wish Grandpa was still here to watch them play in the sand. Everywhere and everything at the beach is a memory of him. It's sights and smells bring both sadness and comfort all at once and memories to treasure for a lifetime.
