curious things

Okay, so at The Strand yesterday I picked up this really cool mug (I have a love for strange mugs). Apparently, when you pour a hot beverage into it, the outline of the cat fades only leaving it's grin. The cat, or the whole picture rather is from Alice In Wonderland and the quote reads:

"Well, I've often seen a cat without a grin, but a grin without a cat! It's the most curious thing!"

I loved that Sally, grin and all, was lurking in the background in this picture I took today! So funny! Tonight has been very relaxed. I talked to my sister out in Chicago for a while and I am just trying to figure out now where to get some dinner with Brittanie!

At work, a resident dropped a puzzle piece she was working on and I picked it up for her and she, with gratitude, said "You're a doll...more like a crocodile!", trying to rhyme the words somehow? I cracked up!
