our potatoes

Here are some potatoes Faith and I dug out of our garden today. They tasted good. Peter dug the patch out of the back lawn in Feb or March and Faith and I dug over the patch and removed stones then planted the taties back in March or April. Faith loved lying in the trench between the ridges, really helpful! I got in a muddle and planted the first earlies at the back, the second earlies in the middle (which is fine) and the main crop and the front so we have to climb over two other rows to get to our first earlies - doh! We have eaten some mangetouts from the front garden too but everything else is looking months away from being edible if it ever gets there!
