Sail Patterns

Rocketing north on a stiff NW wind! Despite the forecast of something much tamer, we set out and discovered a strong NWesterly. We sailed, well reefed, into an 18 knot breeze. It held for hours averaging about 15 knots of wind. We sailed all the way up the Sunshine Coast from Gibson's to Secret Cove that day. Lots of sun and great sailing.

Had time to notice the patterns of lines and shapes created by the sail itself and all the rigging. Lots of spray was coming over the bow as we cut into the 3 or 4 ft seas thus the droplets on the dodger window.
