Tall tall ships

Day trip to Greenock. (or Bogston)....

I wouldn't have missed the tall ships for the world - it's been 10 years now since I went to Norway to do a leg of the Cutty Sark Tall Ships Races. How time does fly. And while Alba Venturer was not participating, she was there, and Ocean Youth Trust were kind enough to allow me down memory lane briefly- allowing me on board for a quick tour before their crew change. The 2nd Mate quipped as we left, you should come sail with us again.... What a thought!
Cuauhtémoc, my favourite, a Mexican navy boat, was nowhere to be seen- but here Gloria - all the way from Colombia - proudly flew her giant flag and belted out some tunes. I love the Tall Ships.
