Sunrise - a Dawn bat survey. Some common pipistrelles flying about, then a barn owl - magic. There's something so utterly fantastic about being awake and outdoors at sunrise - I actually pledged to wake up abnormally early every day from now. Instantly I knew I'd never do it, not at sunrise, at least. But I'll think about it. It nourishes the soul, early morning sunshine and a bit of adrenaline pumping through those life lines.
