Decay

There are many added layers of color, many new intents, many new stories added by time to hide the surface beneath.

Older lives and purposes are revealed in cracks of decay in the facade of the latest new beginning.

Some crumbled areas reveal many past personalities echoing through a layered regress that penetrates deeply showing smaller and smaller aspects of what lies inside the cracks of the face that shows.

This surface awaits a new circumstance, a new episode in its story. Will the new layer smooth the edges of those below and cover them a new of will the old need to be burned away down to the bare bones beneath wounds into the body below will need to be blocked and a new skin grown so the slow march to a distant destination can be started a new.
