Purple one Opened up!

Took this all closed up awhile back..here Not sure what it is and Big R cannot remember either. But they look similar to asters but are not...perhaps in the thistle family.

Began to rain this morning after many threats to do so. Out summer weather has been short lived so far ha ha!
