Tacitus bellus

I don't often venture into the 'study', since that's where DH goes to smoke his fags whilst leaning out of the window - a certain fusty-ness lingers. The plants on the windowsill are succulents and cacti and seem tolerant of being somewhat neglected. But I did pop in today to give them some water and was delighted to see a flower on Tacitus bellus, who almost withered away in the perishing cold last winter (quite understandable considering she's from Mexico). But what a sweetie!

Another day of chores, various. But we've just watched an episode of the Clangers, so it's all good. (I think I've got a pattern somewhere for how to knit a clanger...now, that's a project!)

Edit: just discovered that DaveH blipped this flower a couple of years ago, almost to the day!
