Mother and Son

So I probably should've done something in bleu-blanc-rouge as today is my "fete nationale" (known here as 'Bastille Day' though I've never heard it refered to as such in France).

But that was last week's theme, so I elected this one, which is a random street shot in Washington. I thought there was something special in the 'energy' between that mother and her son (and it just so happens to fit this week's theme!)

Wish I could be posting my own family, but the kids are scattered in three different cities across two countries...
