Shropshire Lad

I had intended a blip of my success looking after the tomatoes today but when I went to retrieve the recycling bin I spotted this lovely cluster of rose heads

This is Shropshire Lad and I had a ‘Poems on the Underground’ excerpt from this on my wall at work for many years:

Into my heart an air that kills
 From yon far country blows:
What are those blue remembered hills,
What spires, what farms are those?

That is the land of lost content,
 I see it shining plain,
The happy highways where I went
 And cannot come again.

I’m not from Shropshire - in fact I'm not even sure if I have ever been but these lines tug at my heart
