Just noticed these wee guys hanging on the apple tree. This tree yields hundreds of apples every year - far more than I can use. I take them to work, round to my neighbours, to my family when I visit and freeze them.

It's amazing to watch them grow and swell over the summer until they fall in autumn.

How much we take for granted.

With rising prices etc etc, I need to concentrate on finding my once green fingers and start cultivating again. Could be a community project as we all grow far more than we can personally use....
