Sticking together!

Today we drove for our second blipmeet with Trevor and Ros at their home. We were made so welcome and we were able to catch up on the wedding first hand, the photos are beautiful. The 2 dogs were very well behaved and then I spotted Rupert, a very handsome black and white cat. He quickly realised Bracken was no threat and came to rub against her which she is quite used to. We went to walk on the beach on the Solway shore and Chloe was able to give a display of her swimming talent. I did cherish a hope that she would inspire Bracken to swim but as much as she loves the water she doesn't like to take her feet off the bottom! I think she did very well though and certainly enjoyed rushing into the water for sticks alongside Chloe. On our return we had a sumptuous lunch and then I saw those famous goats. They are lovely creatures and enjoy being fussed and petted. We left for 'home' having had a great day in an unfamiliar part of the world. Thanks again Trevor and Ros.
