Stool End Farm

Another lovely day as we headed for the hills again. We parked the car at Dungeon Ghyll and took the track to Stool End. The farm was like a postcard, bedecked with bright flowers in the sunshine. The path took us around a steady course till the steeper ascent to the summit of Pike of Blisco, (where did it get a name like that!) After lunch and much admiring of the views we began our descent. Great fun scrambling down the rocks with Bracken confidently tackling the precipitous path and needing a helping hand from time to time. The return path brought us to Wall End where the valley track led to the car park. A very satisfactory day!
