Firecracker and fuchsia falls
1. Tomato bagels, coffee and the paper. Just another sunny Saturday. I do feel a little better today and decide to head out.
2. I need a bit of air in my lungs and head to one of my favourite places in the Galloway forrest. I take a walk down Straiton mainstreet, lined with a riot of pink roses, the only sounds are the bees and the gentle clinking of teacup against saucer as I pass the teashop.
3. I take it all in and take a few pictures. I watch and see how long the big fat brown cat can sit right in the middle of the road before he gets shooed off by a car. It's way longer than you'd think. This is a pretty little view with a brightness that catches my eye.
4. The other thing that catches my eye is a little cottage for sale right at the end of main street. I check it out online when I get home and I could buy it. Maybe I should take some time to think that one over though.
5. A drive through the stunning greenery of the Galloway hills to the less stunning orangery of B&Q. I buy the paint for my next project, one is called firecracker, the other is fuchsia falls. It's good to have some colour.
