Goodbye Roo x

We had to take Roo to the vets this afternoon where he was put to sleep. We are all very sad. He is buried at the bottom of the garden by Lola. Both Scout and Blue are not happy - particularly Blue who has stayed by my side ever since. I am going to miss that cat - especially the way he would lope into a room, flop onto a patch of sun and immediately start to snooze. He had discovered he could open the larder door, knock down the tin of cat food and scoop out the contents with his paw. We were going to fit a lock. We won't have to now.
