SLUG LOVE
Today we went to Tintwistle near Manchester to look for the Western Bonelli's Warbler. The weather was even worse than it was on the east coast yesterday, and the waterproofs were in full use again. And the M&S carrier bag, which has done well as a waterproof cover for my camera bag this weekend.
Anyway, I may have seen the Warbler. A chap next to me said it was "the best contender so far today", and someone else heard it singing in the same place. But G didn't see the bird in time, and as it hasn't appeared on the bird guides site today, then I'll not include it on my hypothetical list.
No doubt the sun will shine tomorrow.
