Tongue

A few interesting pictures today, unlike yesterday when I had a few that were OK but dull. But this very cooperative bumblebee wins quite easily. That is some tongue - and some of my other photos show it's forked. Always knew you can't trust a word a bumblebee says.

For maximum impact, go large.

(Wasn't hard to pick yesterday's blip after I turned the butterfly sepia - which hardly changed its colour at all but did emphasise the texture and got rid of the distracting bright background without a lot of fiddling.)
