Fish and Chips

Today, Mom and I went for fish and chips by the sea. It was rather exciting that they wrap the take-out orders in newspaper--it felt very authentic.

Normally, I would get shrimp, but I tried a bit of the cod last time and it was really yummy. The breading is really crispy and light, with a bit of a dill flavour to it. I think they also make their own tartar sauce, because it is really tasty and fresh!

The long awaited sun finally made an appearance, too! Maybe summer is finally coming, even though it is already mid-July!
