Hydrangea

Our yard is ever more like a jungle this year. The hydrangeas are ballooning over toward the veggie garden and swallowing up a pathway.

They are quite interesting flowers--they look almost like a bud within a bud. They cluster together so much that they have almost a springy feeling to them, like you might want to hug them (spiders and other critters temporarily ignored)!
