I've been to Newbury (hence blip) on a quest to find some comfortable shoes.

Am a little distresssed to find self somewhat drawn to velcro fastenings 8-/

Have returned shoeless but at least with no imminent warrant for my arrest by the fashion police :-)

Yet.

It might be a different story tomorrow, as urgency and desperation increase.
(We're invited to an event where both walking and looking stylish would be useful.)

Recently broken toes do not lend themselves to stylish (or much) footwear.

Perhaps if I buy a hat it will draw attention away from my feet?
