14 spot ladybird

I spotted this little yellow ladybird during a very short walk at lunchtime. Really only had time to dash to the post office. It was another grey, dark day and very few insects were about. Forgot to take sensible shoes in today too and so wasn't really equipped for a longer walk.

Almost managed to get a big tick on a long-standing item on my 'to do' list today. Will probably have the task nailed in an hour tomorrow and will then be able to relax a bit.
