A Rose by any other name...

Pondered about posting this one.

Beautiful bouquet arrived for me at the library - no card and the florists were not forthcoming with info...I veered from being pleased with the attention to frankly feeling rather freaked out by it.

In my office my boss and I walked around them, looking at them from every angle as names of possible senders were discussed and dismissed.

Another gorgeous bunch arrived today...still no card so feeling decidedly uneasy I asked the Florists again and found out they were from a man who was actually really vile to me for no reason other than we broke up after a few months.

He sent an email tonight - about 6 weeks after he sent me really insulting, hurtful texts. To apologise.

I really wish he'd just stuck an 'I'm sorry' card in with the flowers...but to send them anonymously seemed a little bit like mischief making.

and while I appreciate the apology

Today's flowers are still in my office and his email remains unanswered.
