Near to harvest

The earlier blue flowers gone, small round seedheads have formed. In a week or two this winter Linseed will be ready to harvest. This may be very tricky as the dried plant has an annoying habit of wrapping itself around the bed of the combine harvester. Secondly, the actual seed is so small, flat and slippery it flows like water and if there is a gap, however fine, around the tailboard of the trailer it will escape!
