This is the view from outside our apartment this evening. We are very close to the blast (about 500m) and given that there are rumours of two more bombs, we are staying indoors. Fortunately our flat faces the other way, so all the effects we had were windows rattling and doors slamming.
The tower block behind the church is the main government offices which appears to have been the target, though as far as I can make out from the reporting (and the police behaviour), the bombs were on the far side of it
But there are shots of the damage showing shop windows blown out where C and M were sitting eating ice-cream on Weds. Very scary - I was a child in London during the iRA campaign of the 1970s and know personally why terrorists are so-called.
EDIT: Here are a couple more shots from Friday. This shows the glaziers already at work shoring up an apartment block on Grubbegata. And this is a soldier, apparently from the bomb squad, arriving at the Deichmanske Bibliotek.
