What a wash out....

...well today I shined up my coat nicely, all ready for going out for coffee with mum and marma but, boooo, it was raining soooo much that when we got there that no where was open for us to sit outside.

We walked around the headland at Portishead and got to the Marina hoping that the sun would have come out by then but no, it was till raining :-( So marma and I had a sit on the bench under the umbrella watching the boats and the rain clouds.

It was a lovely walk though. I could smell the sea the whole way. I was pulling mum really hard on the lead to get as close to the edge of the cliff as I could. I really wanted to jump off and have a swim. Mum was NOT impressed. She told me that you can't just jump off everything into the water. She said it could be dangerous, but I think she is just being boring.

This afternoon the sun came out finally! Yippeee. We took marma to our favourite walk by the river and along the sea wall. I did my famous run and dive bomb into the river. I remembered to wait until I was off the lead and not drag marma in with me *giggle*

Then I chased my ball all along the sea wall, playing in the pools and with another doggie jack russell. It was GREAT, we had a sit down and enjoyed the sun on our faces and the peace and quiet. Hardly anyone goes there so it is really still and peaceful. Well it is until I come bounding along, jumping in the pools and then all over mum when she is sat down enjoying the sun, tee hee!

I noticed tonight that I think I may be in trouble with Stanley and Casper after my dress up yesterday. I think I will have to do some tom boy things this weekend to prove to them that I am still cool!!
