It's a dogs life!

Back to my tomboy self!

Oh boy have I made up for being so girlie on Thursday today. Stanley and Casper would be really proud of me! Hee hee!

I was VERY excited because this morning GRANDAD arrived. I honestly couldn't sit still. My tail was wagging and wagging and I did some zoomies. Then he sat on the sofa and I tried to climb on him and pass my pheasant toy from my mouth to his (he didn't want it though??!) He really is one of the BEST grandads, I don't know why but I just can't resist eating him and trying to wrestle him to the ground. I forgot all my doggie manners when he got here *giggle*

After lunch I took Marma and Grandad (& Mum & Daddy) to Ashton Court, which is one of my favourite spots to walk.

I was sooooooo well behaved, showing off to grandad how I run and get the ball, then bring it back to mum and drop it at her feet for a piece of chicken. In fact EVERY time mum called me I went back to her. Grandad said "surely not another piece of chicken" each time I went back. He is obviously a bit like daddy, they don't understand the importance of the chicken. I won't come back for anything less.....!

Then mum got daddy to practice his chicken holler, hee hee, he still wasn't quite high enough but I did go back to him.

This picture is of me showing marma and grandad how I like to throw myself in the filthy dirty water in a ditch to get my ball. It was GREAT, you know how much I LOVE water. It was really muddy and dirty too. I think the boys would be impressed don't you??

Then, when it was all going soooo well, we made our way down a steep hill towards the car, I was running ahead, chasing my ball, bringing it back when.....out of the corner of my eye....I saw a lady, man and little boy SAT on the grass AND the little boy had a B.A.L.L that looked MUCH better than mine.

Soooooo, even though mum was chicken hollering with all her might, I belted over to them and jumped all over them. I was soaking wet and smelling gorgeous and the lady had lovely white jeans on. It was BRILLIANT. I wouldn't go back to mum for anything. In fact for the first time in ages she had to come and get me and apologise loads to the people.

I was put straight on the lead, boooooo. Honestly, when I try and be cool for my doggie friends, all I do is get hassle from mum. Doesn't she understand peer pressure?? ;-)

Anyway, I am sure I am back in with the boys after today's escapades. I will perhaps try and behave a bit better again tomorrow..........PERHAPS??

Here are a few more pictures from today if you would like to see them!

Bye for now
