Yeah, baby!

After weeks of trying I almost accidentally managed to 'catch' a hummingbird today. I was sitting at the picnic table going through and deleting the most blurry photos of the Squire (who had come round for a visit) when I looked at the feeder, and there it was. I had time to focus and adjust exposure and everything too, though not much.

Good things happen when you least expect them :)


We have a nice refreshing thunderstorm, but with the puddles still drying it's already pushing 90F again. Still, it's the weekend and if I'm so inclined I can walk around the house in my bathingsuit for two days. Nobody cares.
