End of school party

Wow - what a day.
It was my oldest daughter's last day at the junior school. After lunch, there was a leaver's assembly and then the kids had an afternoon of fun. There were bouncy castles, hot dogs, candy floss but the highlight of the afternoon was this massive foam machine. The kids went wild. It was brilliant and the sun was shining.
We had to come home and get showered and changed. We then spent the evening in the pub. When we got home, my youngest daughter realised that she'd left her bag at school with her toys in (last day of school = toy day). I think she has cried herself to sleep. I doubt very much that the school gates will be open tomorrow.
