Needlepoint Canvas

Of all the hundreds of needlepoint canvases we have at the shop where I work, this one is my absolute favorite. It is hand painted by a local artist and sells for $410.00. And, someday it's going to be mine! I love Charles Wysocki, and this is very reminiscent of his work. I love houses, and have several on my living room wall that I did in counted cross stitch.

With the Christmas bonus we get each year, I'll soon be able to afford it. I plan to work on a small section at a time, selecting the perfect threads and stitches to work it in. I would like each building to be unique unto itself. It will be a long term project, since it's 18 count canvas. Some day...
