Little France
[Back Blipped]
Well, I was quite ill on Friday and by the evening I was getting a bit worried so I went for a wee trip to Little France to the GP out of hours.
I should have taken the camera because there was a great blip to be had. I sat in the back of one of two completely empty waiting rooms, looking at a huge poster saying "Due to the unusual high volume of patients this evening and a shortage of staff, your waiting time may be increased and your appointment may be delayed". Just to the left of this poster was a large group of staff having a chat and a laugh. Ace.
I was seen quickly and ended up leaving before my appointment was supposed to begin! Long live the NHS! Got some medication and dragged myself home.
When I got back, blipless and still regretting not having taken the camera, I remembered this sketch from some old Art Deco research I did and thought that a beautiful Parisian woman was probably a more fun way to remember my trip to Little France than a hospital waiting room! I didn't have the energy to upload last night.
But I feel much better now.
