The Dazzler stayed at home today and fitted some more of our kitchen. What was going to be something simple - a door 'facelift' has escalated. I bought a massive range style cooker for a song and then it became apparent it fitted in the dining room better. The doors we had bought were no longer really required or enough. Then I spotted some bargain worktops from Magnet and some reduced doors from Ikea. Now we have a mixture of Ikea, Magnet and B and Q kitchen, all backed by Laua Ahsley Wallpaper, which was a bargain. Of course. So, the layout and the use of the existing cupboards, new cupboards and new doors has taken a little bit of jiggery-pokery. However, I can tell you that my extrodinairly cheap kitchen will look rather more like an expensive designer one when complete.

In the evening we took the kids to the seaside for chips. Ruth and Karma decided to visit with their bambino.

A great end to a productive day.
