New shooooos

This evening I went to the leaving do of a teacher who has been at school for the last 28 years. That's a loooonnnnggg time! So, after all this time in the home counties, she's returning to her native Manchester. A lovely party - I don't often get to socialise with colleagues outside work, so really enjoyed it. Anyway, Gill's gone; it really is the end of an era.

So this morning I had a bit of a 'what the blinkin' heck shall I wear' moment. Found a lovely (flattering) maxi dress, but struggled with shoes, until i found these sparkly flip flops (half-price) in Sainsburys. "That's fine" thinks I, "I'll accessorise in turquoise". Fine, sorted, no problem.

These are the lovely (very comfy) flip flops after I arrived home this evening. Then I noticed that I'd forgotten to take the plastic tag off the left shoe. Do you think anyone noticed?!
