Ministry of Scarecrows?

Spent a lovely couple of hours this afternoon wandering around Abbotsley, a pretty village near us, for the last day of their annual Scarecrow Festival.

The theme this year was television programmes and there were some great specimens - Spongebob Squarepants (see Abbotsley Scarecrow Festival), Captain Pugwash, Peppa Pig, Bagpuss, Only Fools and Horses, Top Gear and Postman Pat amongst them.

I chose this one of 'Yes Minister' as I smiled at the opportunism of the church to change it slightly to their needs, and also I really like the unusual figures on top of the church spire.
