Global atrocities.

This photograph was one I took when on a trip to France once. One word, written by an innocent civilian. A word that obviously encompasses a lot and which clearly speaks to the world.

So as simple as it is, I wanted to post this as an expression of my great sadness for those around the world who, this week in particular, have had a dreadful week but especially to those in Norway in light of the events on Friday 22nd July. This, of course, being in addition to the officially declared and terrible famine status in most, if not all of the African horn, and the tragic train crash in China and that's to name only but a few... and all only in this past week.

The weight of the said events are such that words nor photographs could ever adequately express the tragedy of such sadness and unnecessary losses of life, so I try not.
