Palace Knights

A re-enactment day at Stirling Castle today.

Some of the scenes in the Queen Anne garden were demonstrating weapons used by knights and soldiers in Scotland in the 1500s. A great display of swords, knives, cross-bows etc and some very fine costumes as I hope is illustrated in this photograph. The actors were excellent - informative as well as entertaining in the bright warm sunshine.
