Homeward bound

Another scorching hot day today. Unfortunately we had to pack up the caravan and head back home. We had enquired about staying another night but the site was fully booked and we were third on the cancellation list.

We arrived back at mum and dad's and cleaned up the caravan while the kids all played in the paddling pool. We then stayed on for a BBQ dinner to make the most of the sunny weather.

Kerr was super excited to see Kerrsdaddy today. He has not seen him since Tuesday which is the longest time he has been apart from him. He gave him lots of big cuddles and squeezes and was full of smiles.

What a lovely little holiday we had, but it is also really nice to be back in our own house just the three of us (and Fudge) again. Home, sweet home :-)
