The Canadian interior - Day 5

Castlegar to Kelowna.

An early start to a brilliantly sunny day saw us take a walk round Castlegar viewing the "Castlegar Sculpturewalk 2011". 26 fascinating sculptures dotted around downtown Castlegar. The sculptures are owned by the artists and loaned to the exhibit for a year. The public, and visitors, are allowed to vote and the winning piece is bought by the city to become part of its permanent collection. A great idea that should be copied everywhere.

After that we were on the road again through more great scenery to our latest destination, Kelowna. Who knows what we'll find tomorrow.
