Ice plant.

These flowers have the most beautiful pastel colours that look almost unreal. I have not seen them at the garden centres for some considerable time. To overcome the problem of this, I used to grow them from seed, and remember that there was over 2500seeds per packet. Even though the seeds are rather small, they are fairly easy to germinate. The other good thing about these plants, is that they are extremely sensitive to the sun and open up fully in full sunshine, and close up in the shade. I got these healthy plants from Morrisons and I am very pleased with them. They are the sort of flower, like sunflowers that make you want to smile.
