Let's fly

Spent the day working in London. At lunchtime I walked down the King's Road in Chelsea to take a few candid street portraits for a photo club challenge. When I got home I sat in the garden reviewing my images, trying to decide which one to use for a blip when hundreds of flying ants started emerging from the ground beneath my feet. This usually happens in July or August when its hot and humid. The queens emerge to mate before losing their wings and hibernating until they lay their eggs and set up a new colony.
