Death of a rose
What a great day.
Went for a bike ride with a friend, 62.5 miles in and around lovely countryside, a cool breeze keeeping us at just the right temp for the whole time. Chatted and laughed as we rode, my thanks to my friend Mat for the middle bit and his good company.
Once home, and in the wind shaded hospitality of my garden, I decided to potter around the house. The beautiful roses from the garden had seen their best and had to be thrown out, even as I put them into the recycling bin they still smelt super.
Gardening and taking photo's occupied the rest of my day, with a little bike ride down to the river where I sat and stared at the sky for a very long time, I love doing that.
Some days, and we all know what I mean, smilling is easy!
