The Snowman

Not a beautiful snowman - but still a snowman, what remains from yesterdays making by the families and people who filled the park.
There was a frost last night, and now the snow is all hard and crusty, and very very slippery on the roads and footpaths.
The snow is still lying, even though the sun has shone most of the day and we have had nice blue skies.
I went for a walk once more with my camera, and I did some 'different' shots, but decided at the end of the day on a people interest one.
We were going to be heading down south today, but because of the roads we have stayed put.
Tomorrow we will head off, and hope that we can get through and that the black ice and snow will have gone from the roads, especially north of Dunedin.

PS - I forgot to say - A MASSIVE THANK YOU FOR ALL THE PEOPLE WHO STOPPED BY TO LOOK AT MY SNOW PICTURE OF YESTERDAY, AN ALSO TO GIVE THEIR CONGRATULATIONS ON REACHING 500 BLIPS, SUCH A BUZZ.......
