Reflections

Today we got up and out at sparrows fart, well 9.30 actually we were feeling a little lazy this morning. Off we go to Lake Mahinapua, its just perfect, still, calm, clear and the mountains look just beautiful. Wow what a start to our short trip.
Unfortunatly Ian gets a phonecall to say that his mother in law, Alice, has just passed away. Just so sad.
Really feel for Ailsa losing her mother and not having Ian there for support, he felt terrible as we all did.

It got me thinking.......

It is such a hard time when you lose a parent. Regardless of how old we are we can always rely on our parents for support and honesty and to have this taken away from you can make you feel really lonely. I miss my parents terribly but just have to get on with life...........oh well.
