Birthday Roses

Here I am with a rose each for my granny and grampy. It was granny's birthday yesterday and it will be grampy's birthday tomorrow, so I thought that I would do a birthday blip on the day in the middle :-)

Granny and grampy have a lovely big extra garden in the countryside and I get to go and play there sometimes. They are both FANTASTIC gardeners and love flowers so I thought I would get them both a rose. I hope that they will like them?!

So, Happy Birthday Granny and Grampy, I am sending you big licks and play bites down the computer xxxxxx

Before I go I must just quickly tell you about my early morning weight check visit to the vet.

I LOVE it at the vets. I can't wait to get through the door to see them all. I always get loads of fuss and treats whilst I am there. Jo is my nurse (I will blip her one day) and I sit on the scales perfectly for her. Then I had a bit of a tummy tickle but got over excited and tried to eat her, oops.

I am doing well, I am only going to be a small labrador when I am older. My grandparents were field trial champions you know *boast* AND my great grandparents too. So I come from a real working background which means I am slighter in build and also have VERY high energy (I think mum has kinda guessed this by now, tee hee) So I am not going to grow to much over 20 kilos they don't think. I only have small bones so I MUST NOT get fat. Mum and daddy are very good about that. I am never allowed treats from the table or anything that they eat. I have my own healthy food, vitamins and special treats. Jo y nurse says I am glowing with health and doing really well :-)

I caused a bit of a kerfuffle in the waiting room when another "baby" puppy (I am a "big" puppy now!) came in and we wanted to play. I would have done zoomies right there and then if there was enough room, but it is only a small waiting room and I nearly knocked everything flying from the stands when I was doing twisty turnies on my lead *giggle*

Anyway I am home now and did a few zoomie bum tucks around the lounge to make up for it!
