A bit down in the mouth

Here I am this afternoon feeling a bit grumpy. You see, on Mondays, I don't get my afternoon walk. I ALWAYS forget why and get a bit grumpy and moany.

I was soooooo full of energy that I was doing zoomie bum tucks around the lounge and couldn't stop chasing my tail, even when I was on mum's lap!! Hee hee

Then, I got even grumpier because on Mondays I don't get my tea at the normal time either. I moan & moan at mum until she puts me in the car and THEN I remember it is training night. Yippppeeee!

Tonight wasn't the best night I've ever had though. We were working on my forward drive..... Well..... I am good at sideways drive, backwards drive, diagonal drive, round in a circle drive, in fact I great at every other drive than the one mum wants *giggle*.

You see I am supposed to be focused on a tuggy toy, but really, I can take or leave toys you know. Chicken does it for me everytime.

Today we took Ernie with us, he is a giant pink fluffy Emu. I like to tug him at home so mum thought we would give it a try in class, but honestly mum, do you think I am going to show interest in a giant pink fluffy emu in front of my classmates??? Especially Blue the dreamy collie. What would they think of me??

So there was mum, running around, waving a giant pink fluffy emu at me, trying to sound exciting in a high voice..... and I ran straight past her into the hedge for a sniff. EVERYTIME. I think she got a bit fed up. It was quite hot tonight and she looked a bit red and sweaty and kept mumbling under her breath about me being hard work. Hee hee!!

So we got home and I thought I would please her by picking up the giant pink fluffy emu and running to her for a tug. Do you know what?? I don't think she was that impressed! Poor mum.

Better luck next week maybe. I think she might have got the hint that the giant pink fluffy emu is not cool in class ;-)
