Shocking pink

I am feeling the aftermath of the weekend's exertions and the long council meetings which finally ended at 10.15 pm last night. Then I couldn't get to sleep until about 4am this morning much like Sunday morning. Dawn was nigh in the sky.

This emergency blip was possible as I could just about manage to reach the patio outside the back door. I had planted cuttings from these two Pelargoniums in one pot, but hadn't realised how their pink and red petals would clash. I was interested in the new buds that are just opening, burst out of their outer hairy 'shells'.

When will normal service resume?
